The USGenWeb Project policy statement on lookups:

USGenWeb policy prohibits lookup volunteers from infringing on copyrights, so please do not ask for large quantities of information, information on multiple people, or photocopies of pages from the books.

Procedures for requesting lookups:

  • Send an e-mail message to the volunteer listed.
  • Please be very specific and only request one lookup at a time.
  • Please allow up to two weeks for a reply before sending another request.
  • Be sure to thank your volunteer for responding to your request.
  • If you encounter problems, please contact the county coordinator.

If you have, or have access to, resources relating to Calhoun County, such as census, marriage, cemetery records, etc., and are willing to do lookups, please let me know. Thank you!!

If you see a book listed for lookups, and if you are the copyright holder, and you do not want the book used, please notify the county coordinator and it will be removed.

If there is a bad link, and someone does not respond, please let me know, and I will remove them immediately.
